05/31/15- Paula's Healthy Living Eating/Exercise Journal: Thursday

by Paula (Clean Eating Expert) 1. June 2015 05:09

I love creative uses for existing products.  The June issue of Clean Eating Magazine talked about uses for salad spinners:

1.       Clean salad and vegetables (we all know this one)

2.       Use spinner to clean strawberries and other fruits (fruits should be washed before being eaten)

3.       Dress a salad without drenching your greens.  Distribute a small portion and then whirl the spinner.  It distributes the dressing while draining extra, unnecessary dressing which adds calories.

4.       Wash delicate laundry.  After hand washing in the sink, put into the spinner to safely remove excess water.

Using existing products for creative purposes is a great way to make your life work-efficiently!
