I weigh myself every morning and today I was at 116.2. I'm actually shocked that I lost a pound because my husband and I ate out at restaurants for lunch and dinner both Saturday and Sunday. Eating out isn't something I restrict myself from, but I try to make it a rarity. It's too difficult truly knowing how much fat, calories, sodium, and sugar is in food that someone else has prepared. I walked a lot this weekend which may have helped. I also have been lucky enough to have worked with a consultant who educated me on the best choices to make while eating out. As you read my blogs you will be able to learn healthier options for when you do dine out. I will be keeping a daily food journal which may or may not help you with what to eat. I try to stay within 1200-1400 calories per day. I read all labels and follow all serving sizes.
MONDAY:
Breakfast
1/2 cup Fiber One pancakes
1/4 sugar-free syrup
banana
1/2 cup of milk
Lunch
Carrots
6 oz. yogurt
sugar-free jello
2 pieces of whole wheat bread
veggie burger
Snack
Plum
Dinner
Salad (mixed greens, tomatoes, croutons) with 2 tbsp low-fat ranch
2 oz. low-fat pork chop
1/2 cup instant mashed potatoes with spray butter
Snack
100 calorie pack and Diet Coke
